I’ve Got The Power!

Parents and teachers want to do everything possible to protect kids online; however, the real safety comes when kids understand why and how to make healthy choices for themselves.

I’ve Got the Power encourages kids to take an active role in what they view or do online. This empowerment helps them make smart choices in other aspects of their lives.

How Does “I’ve Got the Power” Work?

It’s as easy as A, B, C!

  • A: A morning announcement presents the “Power Boost” message for the day.

  • B: Students participate in a classroom discussion using the provided guide.

  • C: The Power Boost is the password to participate in fun lunchtime activities.

For extra fun, students design their own superhero with real life superpowers.

The Power Boosts

  • I have the power to recognize danger online.

  • I have the power to turn it off.

  • I have the power to tell a Trusted Adult if something doesn’t feel right.

  • I have the power to follow my plan.

  • I have the power to help my friends make safe choices online.
